Nor Zuraini Mohd Saad

Acting Chief Executive Officer

Zuraini was appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of BIMB Investment Management Berhad (BIMB Investment) on 15th October 2024.

She previously served as the Head of Sales & Marketing Strategy at BIMB Investment from 7th September 2023 until her recent appointment. With over 27 years of experience in strategic planning, investment, corporate finance, and Islamic wealth management, Puan Zuraini brings significant expertise to her leadership role. Before joining BIMB Investment, she held the position of Assistant General Manager, Property Investment at Lembaga Tabung Haji.

Puan Zuraini holds a

• BA (Hons.) in Accounting & Financial Management from the University of Essex, United Kingdom; and an
• Islamic Financial Planning certificate from the Islamic Banking & Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM).

Bakri Jamaluddin

Chief Operating Officer

Bakri joined BIMB Investment as Chief Operating Officer on 3rd April 2023. He has an extensive experience of more than 20 years in the financial industry. Prior to joining BIMB Investment, he was the Chief Operating Officer at AIIMAN Asset Management Sdn Bhd. (AIIMAN). He has worked with various organisations including the Bank of America Merrill Lynch, MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Bhd, AmInvestment Bank Berhad, Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM), Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA), and Messrs Hisham, Sobri & Kadir;

Bakri holds a

• Bachelor of Laws, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM);
• Was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1996;
• Module 9, 10 and 11 (Fund Management); and a
• Registered UTC with FIMM.

Muhammad Faris Aizuddin Mohd Harith

Head of Sales & Marketing Strategy

Faris joined BIMB Investment as the Head of Sales & Marketing Strategy on 10th March 2025. He has over a decade of experience in the investment industry, specialising in portfolio management, product innovation, and business development. He has managed multi-billion-ringgit portfolios across various asset classes for both domestic and global funds. His expertise also includes overseeing the development of new funds and investment products. Throughout his career, Faris has held key roles at leading institutions such as Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank), Valuecap Sdn Bhd (ValueCap), and RHB Banking Group (RHB). He currently leads the Sales & Marketing Strategy department at BIMB Investment, aiming to strengthen its position as a leading Shariah-compliant asset manager.

Mohd Shahir Seberi

Head of Fixed Income (Investment)

Shahir joined BIMB Investment as the Head of Fixed Income on 3rd July 2023. Prior to joining Bank Islam, he was a Senior Manager at MBSB Bank Berhad, a Portfolio Manager at AIIMAN Asset Management Sdn Bhd, an Assistant Vice President, Fixed Income at Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, an Analyst at KWSP, and a Fixed Income Research Analyst at Malaysia Rating Corporation Bhd (MARC). His forte is in the field of credit analytic with almost 20 years of experience including involvement in credit recovery activities. This greatly aids him and the Sukuk team in selecting issuers with strong creditworthiness, beyond simply looking at the assigned credit rating.

Nazifah Mohd Arshad

Head of Equity (Investment)

Nazifah joined BIMB Investment as the Head of Equity on 18th December 2023. She is a highly accomplished professional with over 18 years of cumulative experience in the financial and investment industries, specializing in equity and research analysis for both local and foreign equities. Her career is marked by a diverse range of competencies, including managing private mandates, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investments, unit trusts, and proprietary investment with cumulative asset under management exceeding RM7 billion. She held the position of Senior Fund Manager at MIDF Asset Management Bhd. Her extensive career has encompassed positions at esteemed institutions such as Valuecap Sdn Bhd, Permodalan BSN Bhd, Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Bhd, and Sime Darby Bhd.

Nazifah holds a

• Bachelor of Science with Honors in Actuarial Science from Universiti Teknologi Mara; and a
• Capital Market Services Representative License.

Salmi Ahmad

Head of Product Development & Management

Prior to joining BIMB Investment, Salmi served as AVP Product and Alternative Investments in Investment Management Division at Etiqa Life Insurance Berhad, covering both product development and investments for conventional and Islamic arm of Etiqa Group. Salmi started her career in 1993 at Maybank Life Insurance (currently known as Etiqa Life Insurance) in Operations Department and subsequently moved to Actuarial Division and Investment Management Division.

Noorsazreen Nordin

Head of Compliance

Noorsazreen joined BIMB Investment as Head of Compliance on 5th January 2022. She is the designated person responsible for compliance matters of BIMB Investment. She has more than 14 years of experience in financial and capital market industry. She was formerly the Head of Compliance at Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad (CGC), Vice President of Group Compliance at Ambank (M) Berhad, Head of Compliance at TA Investment Management Berhad, Assistant Manager at RHB Asset Management, Assistant Manager at Manulife Asset Management and she started her career as an Executive in Public Mutual Berhad.

Noorsazreen holds a

• Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) Finance;
• Registered Compliance Officer with Securities Commission Malaysia (SC); and a
• Member of the Compliance Officer Networking Group (CONG) of Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB).

Meghan Ow Lai Wan

Head of Risk Management

Prior to joining Bank Islam, Meghan served as a Fund Manager and Head of Fixed Income Investments at Hong Leong Asset Management Bhd for eight (8) years. She was responsible for portfolio construction, active management, and the performance of money market and fixed income portfolios (Unit Trust, Wholesale, and Private Mandates). Her other responsibilities included ensuring that the portfolios consistently complied with specific fund mandates, as well as SC regulations and internal policies and guidelines. She also played a key role in creating fixed income marketing materials to support business development and sales divisions, contributing to the growth of the fixed income business. Additionally, Meghan was responsible for establishing policies and guidelines for money market transactions, bonds, and foreign exchange, as well as formulating credit policies for fixed income investments and setting limit policies for financial institutions. Currently, Meghan is the Head of Risk Management at BIMB Investment, where she continues to apply her extensive experience in portfolio management and financial risk assessment to strengthen the risk management framework and drive its strategic objectives.

Muhammad Izzat Ab Hadi

Head of Finance

Prior to joining BIMB Investment, Izzat served as the Assistant Vice President of Group Finance at Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad. He is a chartered accountant with over 15 years of experience in various industries including Financial Services (Islamic Business), Stockbroking, Investment Banking, Money Lending, Factoring & Leasing, Auditing, Advisory, and Consultancy. Izzat also gained experience at Ernst & Young in Assurance (Audit) & Advisory services. Currently, Izzat holds the position of Head of Finance at BIMB Investment, where he continues to leverage his extensive expertise in financial management to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence.

Zuleika Ismail

Head of Fund Accounting & Operations

Zuleika joined BIMB Investment as the Head of Fund Accounting & Operations on 3rd February 2025. She is a professional with over 15 years of experience in back-office operations within the financial, banking, and fund management industries. She has successfully managed operations across money markets, fixed income, and both local and foreign equities, with a strong emphasis on process optimisation and operational efficiency. Zuleika's expertise in automation has been instrumental in enhancing operational workflows. She has led key initiatives, including the automation of equity pre-matching trade settlements with brokers, trustees, and custodian banks. Her efforts have significantly reduced manual reporting tasks, minimising human error and enhancing operational efficiency. Currently, Zuleika oversees Fund Accounting and Operations, where she continues to drive operational excellence.

Zuleika holds a Bachelor of Business Studies in Accountancy from Massey University, New Zealand.
