The method of calculation is as follows:
NAV x No. of Units = Investment Amount
To add, if withdrawal was made today before 4pm, it will be processed tomorrow based on today’s NAV price. If withdrawal was made after 4pm, NAV computation will be based on tomorrow’s NAV.
For example, Price per unit:
May 27 = MYR 0.4680
May 28 = MYR 0.4625
May 29 – MYR 0.4672
On May 28th, the price shown on the app was MYR 0.4680. At that time, investors would not know the exact NAV of the day because the market was not closed. This is the indicator price of the fund on May 27th.
The 4pm deduction time is an important determining factor in the actual price paid by an investor for a purchase. In this example, if the purchase is made before 4pm on May 28th, investors will buy based on the price on May 28th which will be MYR 0.4625.
However, if investors make a purchase on May 28th after 4pm, the price is based on May 29th which will be MYR 0.4672.
For Global funds, NAV prices declaration may take up to T + 2 to be reflected on the app.
