Nor Zuraini Mohd Saad

Acting Chief Executive Officer

Puan Zuraini was appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of BIMB Investment Management Berhad (BIMB Investment) on 15th October 2024.

She previously served as the Head of Sales & Marketing Strategy at BIMB Investment from 7th September 2023 until her recent appointment. With over 27 years of experience in strategic planning, investment, corporate finance, and Islamic wealth management, Puan Zuraini brings significant expertise to her leadership role. Before joining BIMB Investment, she held the position of Assistant General Manager, Property Investment at Lembaga Tabung Haji.

Bakri Jamaluddin

Chief Operating Officer

Bakri joined BIMB Investment as Chief Operating Officer on 3rd April 2023. He has an extensive experience of more than 20 years in the financial industry. Prior to joining BIMB Investment, he was the Chief Operating Officer at AIIMAN Asset Management Sdn Bhd. (AIIMAN). He has worked with various organisations including the Bank of America Merrill Lynch, MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Bhd, AmInvestment Bank Berhad, Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM), Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA), and Messrs Hisham, Sobri & Kadir;

Salmi Binti Ahmad

Head of Product Development & Management

Prior to joining BIMB Investment, Salmi served as AVP Product and Alternative Investments in Investment Management Division at Etiqa Life Insurance Berhad, covering both product development and investments for conventional and Islamic arm of Etiqa Group. Salmi started her career in 1993 at Maybank Life Insurance (currently known as Etiqa Life Insurance) in Operations Department and subsequently moved to Actuarial Division and Investment Management Division.

Mohd Shahir Seberi

Head of Fixed Income (Investment)

Shahir joined BIMB Investment as the Head of Fixed Income on 3rd July 2023. Prior to joining Bank Islam, he was a Senior Manager at MBSB Bank Berhad, a Portfolio Manager at AIIMAN Asset Management Sdn Bhd, an Assistant Vice President, Fixed Income at Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, an Analyst at KWSP, and a Fixed Income Research Analyst at Malaysia Rating Corporation Bhd (MARC). His forte is in the field of credit analytic with almost 20 years of experience including involvement in credit recovery activities. This greatly aids him and the Sukuk team in selecting issuers with strong creditworthiness, beyond simply looking at the assigned credit rating.

Nazifah Mohd Arshad

Head of Equity (Investment)

Nazifah joined BIMB Investment as the Head of Equity on 18th December 2023. She is a highly accomplished professional with over 18 years of cumulative experience in the financial and investment industries, specializing in equity and research analysis for both local and foreign equities. Her career is marked by a diverse range of competencies, including managing private mandates, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investments, unit trusts, and proprietary investment with cumulative asset under management exceeding RM7 billion. She held the position of Senior Fund Manager at MIDF Asset Management Bhd. Her extensive career has encompassed positions at esteemed institutions such as Valuecap Sdn Bhd, Permodalan BSN Bhd, Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Bhd, and Sime Darby Bhd.

Nazifah holds a

• Bachelor of Science with Honors in Actuarial Science from Universiti Teknologi Mara; and a
• Capital Market Services Representative License.

Muhammad Izzat Ab Hadi

Head of Finance

Prior to joining BIMB Investment, En Izzat served as the Assistant Vice President of Group Finance at Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad. He is a chartered accountant with over 15 years of experience in various industries, including Financial Services (Islamic Business), Stockbroking, Investment Banking, Money Lending, Factoring & Leasing, Auditing, Advisory, and Consultancy. En Izzat also gained experience at Ernst & Young in Assurance (Audit) & Advisory services.

Noorsazreen Nordin

Head of Compliance

Noorsazreen joined BIMB Investment as Head of Compliance on 5th January 2022. She is the designated person responsible for compliance matters of BIMB Investment. She has more than 14 years of experience in financial and capital market industry. She was formerly the Head of Compliance at Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad (CGC), Vice President of Group Compliance at Ambank (M) Berhad, Head of Compliance at TA Investment Management Berhad, Assistant Manager at RHB Asset Management, Assistant Manager at Manulife Asset Management and she started her career as an Executive in Public Mutual Berhad.

Noorsazreen holds a

Meghan Ow Lai Wan

Head of Risk Management

Before joining Bank Islam, Meghan was a Fund Manager and Head of Fixed Income Investments at Hong Leong Asset Management Bhd for eight (8) years. She was responsible for portfolio construction, active management, and the performance of money market and fixed income portfolios (Unit Trust, Wholesale, and Private Mandates). Other responsibilities included ensuring that the portfolios consistently complied with specific fund mandates, as well as SC regulations and internal policies and guidelines; creating fixed income marketing materials for the business development and sales divisions to build and support the fixed income business; and establishing policies and guidelines for money market transactions, bonds, and foreign exchange; credit policies for fixed income investments, and limit policies for financial institutions.

Meghan holds a

• Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance and General Business) from Western Michigan University, Michigan, USA.

Ahmad Razli Sabri

Head of Procurement & Quality Assurance

Razli joined BIMB Investment as Head of Finance and Operations in June 2022. Prior to that, he was in CIMB-Principal Asset Management Berhad, being responsible for the whole Finance Operations. He started his career as the project accountant in a Bumiputera mechanical and electrical (M&E) contractor, joined Konsortium Logistik Berhad, joined Alam Flora Sdn Bhd as Senior Executive under Reporting and Budgetary Control and later joined Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad, with a main portfolio to implement the budget model for the company. Razli has experience participating in the setting up of financial procedures for Ayamas Food Corporation Sdn. Bhd., and experience in a private equity company based in Jeddah, KSA; Siraj Capital, as the Associate for Investment Monitoring Unit- a newly set-up unit for the company with the main task to oversee the performance of investment.
