We would like to caution the public to be on guard against investment scams promoted on fictitious social media pages such as Facebook and Telegram bearing the title “BIMB Investment’’ with BIMB corporate logo as its profile photo. BIMB Investment does not communicate through Telegram nor affiliated in any way with the said account.

The scammers will introduce themselves as one of our Unit Trust consultants. The scammer will then showcase some investment packages and testimonials before requesting for personal information and investment funds. The scammers will use names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of a legitimate capital market intermediary to promote bogus investment schemes via social media.
Investors can ascertain the registration status of our unit trust consultants marketing and promoting unit trust funds activities regulated by the Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM) at their website www.fimm.com.my.
BIMB Investment would like to emphasize that none of its companies are associated with the fake page or any of its individuals.
Investors are reminded to that they should on deal with unit trust consultants registered with FIMM. Unlicensed companies or individuals may disappear overnight leaving investors without the ability to recover their investments or seek redress against any persons connected with the scheme.
