Executive/ Senior Executive, Compliance

Job Responsibilities

Responsible to provide support and assistance to Head of Compliance and Compliance Department in all compliance related matters.

  • Overall Compliance duties which include to provide assistance and support to Head of Compliance in all compliance related matters in order to ensure smooth operational flow within the Compliance Department and to ensure adherence and compliance to all internal policies/guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Statutory reporting – to ensure timeliness and accuracy of reporting are completed for the purpose of submissions, by
  1. Annually, monthly and quarterly compliance statutory report to the Securities Commission and FIMM.
  2. Monthly fund transaction reports for Trustees submission
  3. Shariah Committee reports
  • Prepare compliance reports for both internal and external reporting.
  • Conduct compliance reviews to ensure business units adhere to regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Assume responsibility of other relevant tasks as may be assigned by the Head of Compliance from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree specializing in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years’ of relevant working experience in Compliance, Finance or the Capital Market is required
  • Some experiences in Unit Trust will be an added advantage
  • Knowledgeable in relevant laws, regulations, directives and guidelines issued by regulatory authorities such as Securities Commission and FIMM.
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Malay
  • Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders


  • Good analytical skills and innovative thinking abilities, and has the drive and perseverance to inculcate a sound compliance and risk management culture.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret written guidelines and legal documents.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Matured, independent and possess high degree of ethics and integrity.
