Job Responsibilities

  • The role is responsible in planning the sales and marketing with all the business partners for Retails/Corporate clients and achieved given sales target.
  • Responsible to BIMB Investment’s relationship products, with corporate and institutional clients and Cold call/prospecting targeting potential corporate cash management customers
  • Prompt and accurate responses to client inquiries and requests
  • Prepare / perform proposal for investment or cash management solution based on the initial findings of their needs
  • Retaining and establishing new relationships with potential corporate clients by hard call and any subsequent presentations needed by client
  • Build pipelines and achieve closures/mandated deals
  • Ensure completeness of the necessary documents for registration and set up for implementation of solutions
  • To perform other duties as and when assigned by the superior in order to achieve Corporate & Institutional Business target
  • To always ensure compliance adherence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 in the Unit Trust and Asset Management industry with background in sales and marketing
  • A recognized Degree in Finance, Economics, Investment Banking or related field.
  • Possess FIMM unit trust license or equivalent will be an advantage.
  • Strong presentation skills, negotiation skills, excellent writing, and communication skills
  • Matured, independent and resourceful
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player
  • Experience and understanding of the asset management and unit trust industry are vital for this role.

Job Responsibilities

The role focussing on regulatory reporting for BIMB Investment Management Berhad (BIMB Investment). The scope of the role includes, but not limited to:

  • Conduct compliance review and testing as per compliance plan and programme;
  • Provide advisory and timely dissemination of SC regulations to the relevant business/operation unit;
  • Assist the Head of Compliance/supervisor to plan and conduct periodic review on all aspects of the BIMB Investment’s operations for improvement of the internal controls;
  • Keep abreast of new regulatory and material regulatory changes, new developments on Regulatory Compliance under SC to ensure requirements are embedded into the business processes;
  • Perform gap analysis of the regulatory requirement and actual processes where required;
  • Support the Head of Compliance/supervisor to sustain the ongoing audits / compliance process;
  • Support the Head of Compliance/supervisor in preparing documentations relating to compliance and the reporting pack for the Board, Board Committee and Management;
  • To assist or at times conduct staff training to raise awareness and understanding of regulatory and compliance matters and provide advice on compliance related matters as appropriate to the business;
  • Act as a contact point with regulators and assist in handling requests from regulators; and
  • Develop close relationship with the business/operation unit to engender a culture of compliance within BIMB Investment.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking/Law or equivalent field.
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Familiar with the requirements of Securities Commission Malaysia’s rules and regulations.
  • Able to work independently with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical skills and report writing skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • The role is responsible to provide in-depth credit analysis research in both domestic and foreign fixed income space to assist the development and execution of investment strategies with the objective of producing reliable, accurate, timely and detailed research on macro and micro economic analysis and company valuations.
  • To perform detail credit analysis for Sovereign Sukuk, Quasi and Corporate Islamic Private Debt Securities issues (domestic/foreign, rated and non-rated corporate sukuk). To identify, evaluate and recommend appropriate investment decision based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • To participate in organized visits as part of data gathering process for research materials in order to produce meaningful and up-to-date information.
  • To manage and maintain centralized data collection and report, publications, etc, in order to ensure Investment Department has proper research library for future references.
  • To assist in fund management, dealing & cash management that include tracking the portfolios’ cash flows, executing money market placement and keeping track of portfolios’ maturities, reinvestment and other money market related activities.
  • To provide support to Head of Investment in developing and maintaining contacts with capital market industry players and listed companies IR in order to have variety access of information.
  • To assist Investment team in preparing the performance review of funds under management and prepare weekly and monthly reports, bulletin and statistics on the market and funds in order to provide necessary information to the relevant parties.
  • To assist Head of Investment in carrying out any marketing duties as required from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in credit analysis and Fixed Income market research functions in a fund management company / credit rating house.
  • A recognized Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Investment Banking or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CPA/CFA/CFP or equivalent will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of the asset management and unit trust industry including investment and economic analysis

  • To qualify as licensed fund manager by Securities Commission
  • Good understanding of the asset management and unit trust industry including investment and economic analysis

Job Responsibilities

  • The role is responsible for investing, managing and monitoring the investment portfolios with the objective of achieving targeted returns in compliance with mandates and manageable risk tolerance.
    • To manage active equity funds, active equity portion of mixed funds, and any other funds as assigned by Head of Investment at best effort in order to achieve targeted investment return potential as per respective investment mandates.
    • To undertake secondary research on companies and sectors in order to assist Investment Department in deciding investment strategy and decisions.
    • To participate in organized visits as part of data gathering process for research materials in order to produce meaningful and up-to-date information.
    • To ensure all orders to brokers are placed, monitored and executed in line with the fund’s strategy/mandate.
    • To oversee the functions of cash management that include tracking the portfolios’ cash flows, executing money market placement and keeping track of portfolios’ maturities, reinvestment and other money market related activities.
    • To undertake the role of a backup fund manager in the absence of designated fund manager.
    • To assist in regular marketing and investment presentation for both internal and external consumptions for Marketing & Clients Servicing and Investment Reporting.
    • To assist Head of Investment in carrying out any marketing duties as required from time to time.
    • To prepare materials for Portfolio Management Committee meeting and Investment Committee meeting
    • To always ensure compliance adherence.
    • To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant working experience in equity fund manager and/or handle the private mandate in a fund management company
  • A recognized Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Investment Banking or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CPA/CFA/CFP or equivalent will be an advantage.
  • To qualify as licensed fund manager by Securities Commission
  • Good understanding of the asset management and unit trust industry including investment and economic analysis

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible to provide support and assistance to Product & Market Development Department in all related matters.
  • Establishing new product that include end-to-end process till completion
  • Managing existing products and attend to product related matters include end-to-end process till product related matters are concluded
  • Handling any special project or task as and when need arise

Requirements

  • Minimum degree holder from a recognized University.
  • Must possess min 2 years of experiences in developing financial products and establishing product documents
  • Familiar with the relevant applicable SC Guidelines
